Dont download latest update!!

Whats up with the latest update?!?!? Now the app wont even open on my I-phone4. I deleted and have tried to download the app again, but it wont download for some reason. I DONT like the new EGW app 2, where every book has to be downloaded, or viewed online... what if I dont have a wifi/cell signal (VERY common in my remote part of the Pacific Northwest)... so now I have to take the time to download every single book/pamphlet/etc. for the app2.
Dont know why the original app wont re-install on my phone!!!! Help. So frustrating!!!
